Structures of Alexander Chachava increase their stake in Ozon to 34.95%

MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - The company JSC O23 has increased its stake in the capital of Ozon to 34.95%, according to the report of ICPJSC Ozon to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

O23 has therefore become the largest shareholder of Ozon Group. According to the structure of the ICPJSC's charter capital (as of March 1, 2026), the stake of AFK Sistema remains at 31.8%. The remaining 33.25% is distributed among minority shareholders.

The fact that structures of Alexander Chachava had become investors in Ozon emerged in July 2025. At that time, Ozon said that organizations associated with the entrepreneur had acquired company JSC O23, which at that time owned 27.71% of Ozon's capital.

In the spring of last year, RBC reported that Vostok Investments had sold 27.7% of Ozon's shares at the end of 2024, with the transaction amounting to 38.2 billion rubles. At that time, Ozon did not disclose the new owner of the stake.

In ICPJSC Ozon's accounting report for 2025, the beneficiary of the company is indicated as Alexander Chachava with an indirect ownership stake of 27.65%.

The charter capital of ICPJSC Ozon includes two class A shares and 216,413,733 ordinary shares. One class A share each is distributed between AFK Sistema and O23; these securities give the right to appoint and remove up to three members of the board of directors (out of nine) as long as the holder owns at least 25% of the company.
