Russia sets new record for exports of cheese, cottage cheese in 2025 - Agroexport
MOSCOW. April 2 (Interfax) - Russia set a new record for its exports of cheese and cottage cheese in 2025, shipping almost $173 million worth of these products, the Agroexport federal center said, citing expert estimates.
The previous record was set in 2022 at $153 million.
Export revenue increased 14% compared to 2024. In physical terms, nearly 33,000 tonnes of cheese and cottage cheese were supplied to foreign markets. The dynamics of this indicator were not disclosed.
In 2025, the largest amount export revenue came from shipments to Kazakhstan (over $84 million). Shipments of these products to Belarus amounted to $29 million, to Uzbekistan they stood at $22.5 million, to Kyrgyzstan they were nearly $9 million, and to Azerbaijan they totaled $5.5 million.
In 2025, Russia began supplying cheese and cottage cheese to Jordan.
