Ban on gasoline exports from Russia to be brought in on April 1, still not clear how for long - sources
MOSCOW. March 27 (Interfax) - A ban on gasoline exports for all market participants, which had previously been in place only for non-producers, is to be introduced on April 1, several sources familiar with the outcome of a meeting held on Friday evening by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak with the management of oil companies told Interfax.
The sources said that the period of the ban had not been discussed. One told Interfax that it would be for up to three months.
The possibility of a ban on diesel fuel exports has not yet been discussed, the sources said.
