OECD upgrades its forecast for Russia's GDP growth in 2026 to 0.6% from 0.5%, to 0.8% from 0.6% for 2027
MOSCOW. March 26 (Interfax) - The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has raised its forecast for the growth of the Russian economy for 2026 to 0.6% from the 0.5% expected in December.
The estimate for the country's GDP growth in 2027 was raised to 0.8% from 0.6%, according to the updated forecast.
The OECD said the Russian economy grew 1% in 2025.
Inflation this year is expected at 6.4% against last year's 8.7%, and at 4.5% next year. Previously, 5.4% and 4.3% were forecast.
