Central Bank of Armenia holds refi rate at 6.5% again
YEREVAN. March 17 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Armenia took the decision to leave the refinancing rate at 6.5% per annum on Tuesday, the regulator said.
The rate has been 6.5% since December 16, 2025, when it was lowered by 25 basis points.
Consumer price inflation was 3.3% in 2025, while the budget targeted 3.5%.
Inflation stood at 4.3% in February compared with February 2025.
