National Bank of Ukraine weakens hryvnia's reference rate to new low of nearly UAH 44.19/$1
MOSCOW. March 13 (Interfax) - The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the hryvnia-dollar reference exchange rate at UAH 44.1858/$1 on March 13, weakening the national currency by almost UAH 0.07 compared to Thursday and having devalued it to a new all-time low for the third consecutive day, Ukrainian media reported citing the NBU.
On Thursday, the NBU set the official hryvnia-dollar exchange rate for March 13 at UAH 44.1636/$1, which had also marked a new low.
Since the beginning of 2026, the hryvnia-dollar reference rate has declined by almost 4.7% and the official rate by 4.3%.
