Bushehr NPP situation very complicated, but under control - Rosatom chief
ST. PETERSBURG. March 11 (Interfax) - The situation at Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) is very complicated and tense but still under control, Rosatom chief Alexei Likhachev said.
"Strikes and explosions are within a certain distance from the construction site of the active power unit of the Bushehr [...] Yes, it is quite close, a dust pollution here, a window blown out there, but the parties to the conflict, at this very minute, are refraining from direct attacks on Bushehr NPP itself," Likhachev told journalists on Wednesday.
"Our principle is one of absolutely excluding a nuclear facility from under any military danger," he said.
