National Bank of Ukraine weakens hryvnia reference rate to new all-time low of nearly UAH 43.92/$1

MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the hryvnia-dollar reference exchange rate at an all-time low of UAH 43.9185/$1 on March 11, having weakened the national currency by UAH 0.05 compared to Tuesday, Ukrainian media reported citing the NBU's report.

The previous low was recorded on March 5, when the regulator set the hryvnia-dollar reference exchange rate at UAH 43.8693/$1.

Since the start of 2026, the NBU has weakened the hryvnia-dollar reference exchange rate by almost 4.1%, while the official hryvnia-dollar exchange rate has weakened by 3.6% over this time.
