Russian govt names candidates for board of directors at United Grain Company
MOSCOW. March 10 (Interfax) - The Russian government has named candidates for election as state representatives to the board of directors of United Grain Company (UGC), with the list contained in an order dated March 6, 2026, and published on the official legal information portal.
The list includes Rosagroleasing CEO Pavel Kosov, Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut, UGC CEO Dmitry Sergeev, and Russian Agricultural Bank (RSHB) Security Director Victor Solovets.
UGC Group is a trading and logistics operator for agricultural products, the only Russian infrastructure company with state participation in the agricultural market, and is one of the leading exporters of Russian grain. The government owns 50% plus 1 share, and Demetra Holding is the other shareholder at 50% minus 1 share. UGC has served as the government's agent for procurement and commodity interventions in the grain market for over 20 years.
