Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency extends recommendation to cancel flights to Israel until March 20

MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has extended its advisory to Russian airlines to cancel flights to and from Israel until March 20, the Transport Ministry said.

"Russian airlines have been advised to extend the cancellation list of flights to and from Israel until March 20," the ministry said.

All flights from Russia to Israel were previously canceled until March 10.

The advisory to suspend ticket sales from Russia to Bahrain, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Qatar, and the UAE is additionally open until March 14.

The three airlines that operated regular flights between Russia and Israel were Azimuth Airlines, Red Wings, and Israel's El Al prior to the flight restrictions imposed owing to the escalation of the military conflict in the Middle East.
