Hryvnia-dollar official exchange rate in Ukraine weakens to new all-time low of UAH 43.8069/$1 on March 6

MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the hryvnia-dollar official rate at UAH 43.8069/$1 for March 6, weakening by 9 kopecks over the past 24 hours and hitting a new all-time low for the third consecutive day, Ukrainian media reported, citing the regulator.

The hryvnia's official exchange rate against the euro also weakened by 7 kopecks to UAH 50.9036/1EUR.

As reported, the NBU set the hryvnia-dollar reference rate at UAH 43.6388/$1 for March 5, weakening by 23 kopecks over the past 24 hours and setting a new all-time low for the second day in a row.

The regular has weakened the hryvnia's official exchange rate against the dollar by 3.4% since the beginning of 2026, versus 0.8% for the whole of 2025.

The buy rate in the interbank market on March 5 was UAH 43.69/$1, and the sell rate was UAH 43.74/$1.
