National Bank of Ukraine weakens hryvnia-dollar reference rate to new all-time low of almost UAH 43.87/$1
MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the hryvnia-dollar reference rate at UAH 43.8693/$1 on March 5, weakening by 23 kopecks over the past 24 hours and updating an all-time low for the second day in a row, Ukrainian media reported, citing the regulator.
The NBU set the official hryvnia-dollar exchange rate for March 5 at a new low of UAH 43.7170/$1, weakening by 26 kopecks in one day.
The NBU has weakened the hryvnia-dollar reference rate by nearly 4.0% since the beginning of 2026, while the official hryvnia-dollar exchange rate for 2026 has weakened by 3.2%.
