Orban orders enhancing security of Hungarian energy infrastructure
BERLIN. Feb 25 (Interfax) - Hungary will take extra measures to enhance the security of its energy infrastructure, as Ukraine might try to disrupt its operations, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Wednesday.
"I have ordered to enhance the protection of vital elements of our energy infrastructure," Orban said on his social account.
He again criticized Ukraine for halting oil transit via the Druzhba pipeline.
"However, they will not stop at that and are preparing other actions to disrupt the functioning of the Hungarian energy system," he said.
Meanwhile, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said on Wednesday that oil shipments via the Druzhba pipeline might be resumed no sooner than March 3.
According to German media, Fico referred to this date in an interview with reporters, adding that he did not expect oil shipments to be resumed in February.
