UK imposes sanctions against Transneft, allows operations until April 9 - document
MOSCOW. Feb 24 (Interfax) - The UK has imposed sanctions against PJSC Transneft , which is responsible for exporting over 80% of Russian oil.
The sanctions include asset freezes and target Transneft's trust services provider and management, according to the UK government's website.
The license permitting transactions with the company is valid until April 9.
The new measures also affected 175 oil trading companies of the 2Rivers network and 48 oil tankers.
