Ukraine settlement talks in Geneva difficult but businesslike, next round to be held soon - Russian chief negotiator

GENEVA. Feb 18 (Interfax) - The Ukraine settlement talks in Geneva were difficult but businesslike and the next round will be held soon, Russian chief negotiator Vladimir Medinsky said.

"They were difficult but businesslike. The next meeting will be held shortly," Medinsky told the media on Wednesday after the second round of talks.

"There were two days of negotiations: a very long meeting held in various formats yesterday and a few more hours today," Medinsky said.

He declined to answer questions from journalists.
