Armenia and Russia discussing increasing agricultural exports

YEREVAN. Feb 12 (Interfax) - Deputy Economy Minister Arman Khojoyan met with a Russian delegation led by Deputy Agriculture Minister Marina Afonina in Yerevan on Thursday to discuss prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.

"Prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial sector and increasing agricultural exports were discussed. An exchange of views took place on the possibilities of deepening cooperation in livestock farming, crop production, viticulture, and winemaking," the press service of the Armenian Economy Ministry reported.

The parties also emphasized the importance of student exchanges in education, joint participation in international conferences, and specialized exhibitions.
