Greenlight given to Armenian-U.S. military-technical cooperation - Pashinyan

YEREVAN. Feb 11 (Interfax) - Military-technical cooperation between Armenia and the United States has new prospects now, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

"The U.S. has supplied Armenia with the most advanced intelligence equipment. What is it about? It's about a path for military-technical cooperation opened between Armenia and the U.S. Military-technical cooperation between our countries has been given the greenlight," Pashinyan said at a government Q&A session at the parliament on Wednesday.

Pashinyan had announced that Armenia was buying V-BAT drones from the U.S. at a joint news briefing with U.S. Vice President JD Vance in Yerevan on February 9. Vance, for his part, said the U.S. approved the sale of $11 million worth of drones to Armenia.
