Russia boosts ice cream exports 26% in 2025 to $74 mln - Agroexport

MOSCOW. Feb 11 (Interfax) - Russia exported $74 million worth of ice cream in 2025, up 26% compared to the previous year, while in physical terms supplies increased 11% to almost 17,000 tonnes, the Agroexport federal center said, citing expert estimates.

The top five largest buyers of Russian ice cream included Kazakhstan (around 6,000 tonnes), Belarus (over 4,500 tonnes), Mongolia (around 2,000 tonnes), Uzbekistan (over 1,000 tonnes) and Abkhazia (over 800 tonnes).

In 2025, Russian ice cream could also be found in stores in Senegal, the UAE, Nigeria, Iraq, Ecuador, India and other countries.

The center recalled that the maximum level of ice cream exports was achieved in 2021, when Russia supplied over 33,000 tonnes of ice cream to foreign markets.
