U.S. Department of Energy once again keeps forecast for liquid hydrocarbon production in Azerbaijan in 2026-2027 unchanged

BAKU. Feb 11 (Interfax) - The Energy Information Administration (EIA) of the U.S. Department of Energy has kept its forecast for liquid hydrocarbon production in Azerbaijan for 2026-2027 unchanged at 0.54 million barrels per day (bpd).

According to the agency's monthly review, production in Q1 2026 is forecast at 0.55 million bpd, in Q2 at 0.54 million bpd and in Q3 and Q4 at 0.53 million bpd each.

The EIA's overall and quarterly forecast for 2027 fully coincides with the estimate for 2026.

The administration's February forecast for liquid hydrocarbon production in Azerbaijan remained unchanged compared to January.

According to the EIA, liquid hydrocarbon production in Azerbaijan in 2025 amounted to 0.57 million bpd.
