Company with Chinese capital to build fish processing complex in Primorye for 208 mln rubles

VLADIVOSTOK. Feb 10 (Interfax) - Severnaya Zvezda LLC, a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV), will create a complex for processing fish and seafood in the city of Ussuriysk, Primorye Territory, with investment exceeding 208 million rubles, the press service of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) said.

The enterprise's products, including fish fillets, cleaned seafood and semi-finished products, will be sold on the domestic market and supplied for export.

The complex's total area will be 1,500 square meters. It is planned that the facility will be commissioned in 2026.

"The enterprise's capacities will allow for the production of up to 200 tonnes of processed products per month, which will amount to 2,400 tonnes per year. We will produce fish fillets, portioned cuts and trimmings for minced meat. The assortment will also include seafood - squid, shrimp, mussels and scallops. An expansion of the product line is planned in the future," the general director of Severnaya Zvezda, Valery Kozlov, was quoted as saying.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Severnaya Zvezda LLC was registered in August 2025 in Ussuriysk. The main owner of the company is Chinese citizen Shi Yunjian (80% of capital). Another 10% each belongs to Kozlov and Chinese citizen Chang Xiaodong.

The preferential regime of the Free Port of Vladivostok applies to 22 municipalities in five subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District. Under agreements with FEDC, more than 1,800 FPV residents are implementing investment projects in Primorye Territory.
