Cordiant's Deputy CEO has become head of tire holding company

MOSCOW. Feb 9 (Interfax) - Dmitry Gorbachev, previously Deputy CEO for Strategic Development and Business Systems, was appointed CEO of JSC Cordiant, effective February 8, the tire holding's press service said.

As noted, Vadim Volodin, who had led the company since 2016, decided to leave the holding to focus on personal projects.

"Dmitry Gorbachev has over 15 years of experience in project management to improve business operating efficiency and implement Lean Production in metallurgy and mechanical engineering. He worked at organizations such as Severstal and Power Machines. From 2022 to 2023, he served as First Deputy Governor of the Vologda Region. He then headed the Operating Efficiency and Innovation Department at Severgroup, and in December 2024, he joined Cordiant as Deputy CEO for Strategic Development and Business Systems," according to the statement.

Cordiant Holding has tire factories in Yaroslavl, with a capacity of 3.6 million tires per year; Omsk at 5.5 million; the Kaluga Region, formerly Continental assets, at 3.2 million; and Ulyanovsk, formerly Bridgestone, at 2.4 million. The combined design capacity is 15 million tires.
