Russia ready for further close coordination with China in global, regional affairs - Putin

MOSCOW. Feb 4 (Interfax) - Russia is ready to continue the closest possible coordination with China both bilaterally and on international platforms, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Speaking of the international situation, the foreign political link between Moscow and Beijing remains an important factor for stabilization amid the growing international turbulence. We are ready to continue the closest possible coordination in global and regional affairs, both on the bilateral track and on every international platform, including the UN, BRICS, the SCO and others where the Russian-Chinese tandem plays a key role in many areas," Putin said during a video conference call with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

He wished success to China's hosting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum and expressed his readiness to provide all necessary assistance to China in this area.
