KazTransOil to raise tariffs for Russian oil transit on March 1
ASTANA. Feb 3 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's state-owned pipeline operator KazTransOil will increase tariffs for transiting Russian oil through its territory, and for several related services starting March 1.
The company said the cost of transporting Russian-origin oil for transit through Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan will rise to $28.02 per tonne, an increase of $0.12, or 0.4%. The rate for loading oil into rail tankers at the Shagyr terminal will jump by 14% to $0.96 per tonne.
The order also details hikes for a range of other export and transit services. The fee for unloading oil from rail tankers at the Kasymov pumping station will rise by 130% to 1,715.05 tenge per tonne. The loading rate at the Shagyr rail-loading rack will increase by 84% to 517.00 tenge per tonne. The transshipment fee at the Kasymov station will grow by 0.8% to 80.99 tenge per tonne.
KazTransOil is Kazakhstan's main pipeline operator, managing a diversified network of over 5,400 kilometers.
