Inflation should be 4%-4.5% in Russia in 2026 - deputy PM
MOSCOW. Feb 3 (Interfax) - Inflation should be 4.0%-4.5% in Russia in 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said in the Federation Council.
"Inflation [in 2026] should be at the target level of 4.0%-4.5%," Novak said.
As reported, the Economic Development Ministry's budgeted inflation forecast for 2026 is 4.0%.
The Central Bank expects inflation to be 4.0%-5.0% in 2026.
Analysts surveyed by Interfax in late December project inflation to be 5.1% in 2026.
