MOSCOW. Feb 2 (Interfax) - Russia increased exports of poultry meat and by-products 3.5-fold to over $51 million in 2025, and 2.4-fold in weight terms to over 35,000 tonnes, the Agroexport federal center said, citing preliminary estimates by experts.

The main buyer was Benin, which imported $21 million of the produce. The Democratic Republic of Congo purchased almost $11 million, Ghana $6 million, Mozambique $4 million and Guinea more than $3 million.

"Last year will be remembered as the first year that poultry meat and by-products were supplied to the Central African Republic and Sudan. Apart from this, exports to Sierra Leone and Djibouti were resumed for the first time since they paused in 2017, as well as exports to Tanzania for the first time since 2020, Gambia for the first time since 2018 and Morocco and Togo for the first time since 2023," the statement reads.
