Russia becomes leading country in terms of revenue from exporting chicken feet to China in 2025 -Agroexport center
MOSCOW. Feb 2 (Interfax) - China boosted imports of chicken feet from Russia 10% year-on-year to 109,000 tons and 5% year-on-year to $327 million in 2025, the Agriculture Ministry's Agroexport center said, citing data from China's General Administration of Customs (GAC).
Consequently, Russia became the leader among exporters of this product to China in terms of revenue, surpassing Brazil at export revenue of $326 million. Thailand was third at $219 million, followed by the United States at $69 million and Belarus at $33 million.
Brazil exported $638 million worth of chicken feet to China in 2024, with Russia exporting $311 million worth.
The product is considered a delicacy in China owing to local consumer preferences.
