Sibagro Group intends to begin exporting pork to North Korea by April

TOMSK. Feb 2 (Interfax) - Sibagro Group plans to begin exporting pork to the North Korean market in the first quarter of this year, the holding's press service said.

The Belgorod pig farm has passed Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) certification and obtained the right to export meat products and offal to North Korea. The enterprise received unrestricted status.

As reported previously, the holding company plans to expand its export area in 2026, including entering the markets of the Philippines, North Korea, and a number of African countries. Pork exports rose 30% year-on-year to 33,400 tonnes in 2025.

Founded in Tomsk in 2000, Sibagro Group is a vertically integrated agro-industrial holding that unites 14 livestock and meat-processing enterprises in the Ural, Siberian, Central, and Far Eastern federal districts.
