Yekaterinburg Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant plans to enter Vietnamese market by 2028

YEKATERINBURG. Jan 30 (Interfax) - JSC Yekaterinburg Non-ferrous Metal Processing Plant (EZOCM) expects to enter the Vietnamese market by 2028, the enterprise's press service said, citing its general director Denis Repin.

The Vietnamese market is of interest to the company due to the growing demand for products in the electronics, medical and chemical industries, as well as a shortage of local production of high-purity metals, the press service said. In addition, preferential trade conditions under the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)-Vietnam agreement appear attractive.

"Prospective products for export are sputtering targets (Pt, Pd, ITO) for display and semiconductor production, tantalum tape for capacitors, and refined gold and silver powders for the electronics industry. With systematic work, EZOCM could capture 5%-10% of Vietnam's high-tech metals market by 2028," Repin was quoted as saying.

EZOCM provides a full range of services for refining, processing and manufacturing industrial products from gold, silver and platinum group metals.
