Ukraine may receive first tranche of EU loan in early April

MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - Ukraine may receive the first tranche of the European Union's loan package of 90 billion euros at the beginning of April, European Commissioner for Economy and Productivity Valdis Dombrovskis said after talks with Ukraine's Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko and Defense Minister Mikhail Fyodorov on Thursday.

"We're working toward approval of a 90-billion-euro package for 2026-27, aiming for the first disbursement in early April," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Dombrovskis as saying in a statement on social media.
