Georgia places $500 mln of 5-year 5.125% notes
TBILISI. Jan 27 (Interfax) - Georgia placed $500 million in unsecured notes, maturing on January 28, 2031, at 5.125% per annum, on Tuesday, the Finance Ministry said in a London Stock Exchange filing.
JP Morgan, Citi, ICBC, and Societe Generale organized the offering.
Yield guidance was 5.375% per annum.
The ministry also gave the results of an offer for $500 million of notes maturing in April 2026, in which holders tendered $393.481 million of notes for repurchase, leaving $106.519 million outstanding. The tender offer closed on January 26 and settlements are due on January 28.
Georgia placed $500 million of five-year 2.75% notes on the LSE in April 2021 to refinance an earlier issue of $500 million in 6.875% notes placed in 2011.
The organizers were JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and ICBC Standard, as well as Georgia's TBC Capital and Galt & Taggart investment banks.
