Ukraine quits CIS agreement on protection of borders and maritime economic zones

MOSCOW. Jan 27 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has signed a decree on Ukraine's withdrawal from an agreement on the protection of borders and maritime economic zones of the Commonwealth of Independent States participants, Ukrainian media reported with reference to Zelensky's decree published on the presidential website.

The agreement was concluded in Kiev on March 20, 1992.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has been instructed to notify the agreement's depository of Ukraine's withdrawal from it.
