Tatneft transfers trading company Ikon Shina to Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding
KAZAN. Jan 27 (Interfax) - JSC Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding, controlled by the Republic of Tatarstan and which coordinates the activities of the republic's oil and gas chemical sector, has acquired 100% of the charter capital of Ikon Shina LLC from PJSC Tatneft .
The record of the change of owner was entered into the Unified State Register of Legal Entities on January 26, 2026.
As reported in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the share of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding in the charter capital of Ikon Shina is encumbered with a pledge, the holder of which under an agreement dated January 23, 2026 is Tatneft.
Ikon Shina sells tires produced by Icon Tyres LLC - the former plant of the Finnish tire manufacturer Nokian Tyres, which left Russia, in Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad region. It was purchased by Tatneft in March 2023.
As reported, in 2022 the oil company sold the group of enterprises of the tire business Kama Tyres to Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding. It includes Tatarstan-based manufacturing plants Nizhnekamskshina (Kama and Viatti passenger and light truck tires) and Nizhnekamsk Truck Tire Plant (combined and all-steel truck cord tyres, agricultural tires), as well as service enterprises and the sales company of the tire group Kama Tyres - the trading house Kama, which sells tyres and supplies the group's plants with materials and raw materials.
In June 2024, the new owner of the Kama Tyres group became consulting company JSC Voronezh. Artificial Intelligence (Voronezh.AI), registered in Moscow in November 2023. The Kazan publication Business Online, citing sources, reported that, despite the formal change of owner, Tatarstan retained control over the Kama Tyres group and the enterprises included within it.
