Kyrgyzstan's GDP grows 11.1% in 2025 - PM
BISHKEK. Jan 26 (Interfax) - Kyrgyzstan's GDP increased 11.1% to 1.976 trillion som or $22.5 billion in 2025, Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev said at a staff meeting on Monday.
"Economic growth remained high in 2025, having exceeded 11% for the last two years (2024-2025) [each year] [...] Kyrgyzstan's GDP growth is very high, both on a regional and a global scale," Kasymaliev said.
He said that the construction sector had grown 21.1% over the year, the service sector 10.9% and agriculture 2.2%.
Kasymaliev said that investments in fixed capital had grown 18.4% to a record 374.6 billion som or $4.2 billion.
The International Monetary Fund forecast that Kyrgyzstan's GDP would grow 8% in 2025, while the Asian Development Bank predicted 8.3%, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development 9% and the Eurasian Development Bank 10%.
