Belarus ready to infuse new momentum into trade with Venezuela - Foreign Ministry
MINSK. Jan 21 (Interfax) - Belarus intends to inject new momentum into trade and economic relations with Venezuela, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday following a meeting between Belarusian Ambassador to Venezuela Dmitry Derevinsky and Venezuelan Foreign Trade Minister Coromoto Godoy Calderon.
"The parties have confirmed their commitment to infusing Belarus-Venezuela trade and economic relations with a qualitatively new dynamic and practical content. They discussed in detail the export potential of the two countries, taking into account the complementary nature of the Belarusian and Venezuelan economies," according to the press release following the meeting.
The meeting participants also outlined upcoming joint events aimed at incentivizing entrepreneurial activity between the two countries and bolstering bilateral cooperation, according to the press release.
