Economic activity growth in Russia at end of 2025 higher than mid-year rate - Central Bank of Russia
MOSCOW. Jan 15 (Interfax) - Economic activity in Russia at the end of 2025 continued to grow at a faster pace than mid-year, according to commentary from the Central Bank of Russia.
The volume of incoming payments processed through the Central Bank's payment system was 4.0% higher in December than the third-quarter average. There was growth in financial flows across all major industry groups, the Central Bank said.
The volume of payments overall increased 2.6% quarter-on-quarter in Q4 following a decline of 7.3% quarter-on-quarter in Q3.
Revenues increased 4.4% in December, excluding production, petroleum products, and public administration, up 2.7% quarter-on-quarter in Q4 following a decline of 7.0% quarter-on-quarter in Q3.
