Russia boosts exports of veterinary vaccines 1.7-fold to $43 mln in 11M 2025 - Agroexport center

MOSCOW. Jan 14 (Interfax) - Russia boosted exports of veterinary vaccines 1.7-fold year-on-year to nearly $43 million in 11M 2025, the Agriculture Ministry's Agroexport center said, citing expert estimates.

The top three buyers of Russian vaccines were Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Uganda.

Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) at the Veterinary Safety international forum in November reported that 32.1 billion doses of domestically produced vaccines were introduced into circulation in Russia in 2024 compared to 19.1 billion in 2023. Imports decreased to 15.5 billion doses from 19.4 billion, respectively.

The share of domestically produced vaccines rose to 67.4% in 2024 from 49.6% in 2023. The share increased to 72.6% in H1 2025.
