Trading volume on Baku Stock Exchange drops 10.3% in 2025

BAKU. Jan 13 (Interfax) - The total turnover of exchange transactions on the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) across all instruments, excluding derivatives, dropped 10.3% year-on-year to 63.823 billion manat in 2025, the exchange reported.

Transactions in government securities accounted for 10.682 billion manat, an increase of 35.8%, while the corporate market accounted for 2.508 billion manat, an increase of 5.8%.

The volume of repo transactions dropped 16.9% to 50.633 billion manat.

As previously reported, the turnover of exchange transactions on the BSE jumped 2.6-fold year-on-year to 71.157 billion manat in 2024.

The official exchange rate as on January 13, 2026, is 1.7 manat/$1.
