U.S. lifts sanctions from former deputy chairperson of Sberbank
MOSCOW. Dec 30 (Interfax) - The U.S. Treasury Department has removed sanctions from Alexandra Buriko, former CFO at Sberbank , the department said on Tuesday.
The United States placed Buriko on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List in May 2022 as part of a group of senior managers at Sberbank. Buriko left Sberbank almost immediately after being placed under blocking sanctions. There has been no news about the career path of the senior manager, who had worked at KPMG, En+ , and Rusal , since that time.
