MOSCOW. Dec 25 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) has lifted restrictions on night flights from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. from Russian airports to Israeli airports.
"The decision was made after a thorough analysis of the Middle East situation and coordinated by the agency with the corresponding departments," Rosaviatsiya said in a statement.
In the winter schedule for 2025-2026, scheduled and non-scheduled flights between Russia and Israel are operated by two domestic airlines - Azimut and Red Wings. They fly five routes: from Moscow, Zhukovsky, Krasnodar, Mineralnye Vody and Sochi to Tel Aviv with a total frequency of 16 flights per week.
