Russian govt to allocate over 4.2 bln rubles to finance construction of road in Crimea

MOSCOW. Dec 25 (Interfax) - The Republic of Crimea will receive over 4.2 billion rubles in advance financing for the construction and reconstruction of a regional road by the end of 2025, the Russian government said on its website.

The corresponding directive on the redistribution of funds for these purposes, dated December 23, has been signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"This funding is necessary to continue work on the 35A-002 (E-105) highway, which runs through Simferopol, Alushta and Yalta. Thanks to this, the construction of the next 16-kilometer section of this road will begin," the government said.

The funds will be allocated as part of the Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol federal project.
