Wildberries-Russ assumes ownership of Rive Gauche

MOSCOW. Dec 15 (Interfax) - The Wildberries & Russ (RWB LLC) merged company has assumed ownership of the legal entities of the Rive Gauche perfume chain.

Unified State Registry of Legal Entities (USRLE) data indicate that the deal took place on December 15. RWB acquired 100% of Aromalux LLC and UK PS Group LLC, previously owned by Cyprus-based Rive Gauche Group Ltd.

"An agreement was reached to acquire Rive Gauche as part of the strategic partnership," the Wildberries & Russ press service told Interfax, noting that "the necessary legal parameters for the transaction have been agreed upon and have entered into force."

"Wildberries acquiring Rive Gauche, one of the largest chains, will enable to develop cross-channel sales, significantly expand the range of brands on the online storefront, and ensure the availability of beauty products to customers in the regions and countries where it operates," the press service said.

Kommersant sources reported in the autumn that Wildberries & Russ could become the owner of Rive Gauche.

On September 26, Wildberries and Rive Gauche announced a strategic partnership, under which Rive Gauche stores joined Wildberries' in-store pickup service and received their own section in the marketplace's perfume and cosmetics catalog.

Furthermore, RWB LLC received a 100% stake in Aromalyuks LLC and its subsidiary, Aromatech LLC, as collateral.
