Russia, India to launch joint rocket engine program - Roscosmos
MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - Moscow and India have agreed on a joint rocket engine program, Roscosmos head Dmitry Bakanov said.
"We will announce a joint rocket engine program practically in a couple of days," Bakanov told Channel One on Thursday.
He did not provide further details.
Bakanov said an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel (VGTRK) that Russia and India planned to cooperate in the construction of national space stations.
"There is a substantive interest in interaction in manned space programs, including interaction in building national stations, the Russian space station and India's BAS [Bharatiya Antariksh Station], and some other elements, such as portholes, spacesuits and cosmonaut seats. Our cooperation is very close in this area," Bakanov said.
