Russia boosts agro exports to Uzbekistan 15% to $940 mln in 10M - Agroexport center
MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - Russia boosted exports of agricultural products to Uzbekistan 15% year-on-year to nearly $940 million in 10M 2025, the Agriculture Ministry's Agroexport center said, citing expert estimates.
Agricultural shipments increased 10% year-on-year to over 900,000 tonnes in 10M.
Exports totaled nearly 990,000 tonnes totaling over $1 billion in 2024.
The largest revenue streams came from sugar at 17%, sunflower oil and chocolate at 10% each, soybean cake and meal at 9%, and baby food at 6%.
Agroexport said that Uzbekistan is a net importer of agricultural products. The country is among the top 10 global producers and exporters of cotton, and it is actively expanding production of fruit, vegetables, and nuts.
