Preliminary agreement reached on Witkoff's visit to Moscow next week - Kremlin aide

MOSCOW. Nov 26 (Interfax) - There is a preliminary agreement on U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff's visit to Moscow next week, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.

"As for Witkoff, I can say there is a preliminary agreement that he will visit Moscow next week," Ushakov said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin for the Moscow.Kremlin.Putin program aired on the Rossiya 1 television channel (VGTRK).

The journalist posted an interview abstract on Telegram.

"He and some other representatives of the administration involved in Ukraine [settlement]," Ushakov said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin may receive Witkoff in Moscow, Ushakov told the press on Wednesday in response to a related question.

"The president is likely to receive him," Ushakov said.

Ushakov has not ruled out the Ukrainian conflict ending in 2025.

"We would like that," Ushakov told the press in response to a question about whether the conflict might end in 2025.
