Russia begins exporting dairy products to Mauritania this year - Agroexport center

MOSCOW. Nov 21 (Interfax) - Russian dairy producers have opened the Mauritanian market this year.

The Agriculture Ministry's Agroexport center, citing expert estimates, said that exports totaled 80 tonnes worth nearly $190,000 in 10M 2025. "This is the first time in the history of observations," Agroexport said.

Russia also exports yeast to Mauritania at over 75 tonnes totaling over $170,000 in the period.

The peak in export revenue was in 2020, when Russia supplied Mauritania with agricultural products worth over $31 million. Wheat was the main export commodity at that time.
