Demand for DOM.RF IPO totals around 80 bln rubles - organizer
MOSCOW. Nov 20 (Interfax) - Total investor demand for the IPO of PJSC DOM.RF exceeded the initial offering volume of 25 billion rubles by just over threefold, the press service of VTB reported, citing VTB Bank Management Board Member Vitaly Sergeichuk.
"The offering saw significant interest from both institutional and retail investors, with overall demand totaling around 80 billion rubles," Sergeichuk said.
VTB Capital Trading was one of the organizers of the deal, which, according to data, was the largest IPO of a Russian company since 2021.
The deal also marked the first privatization IPO since 2020, with implementation "possibly leading to new potential issuers within the privatization program," Sergeichuk said.
