NCSP estimates investment in Novorossiysk fertilizer terminal at 28 bln rubles
MOSCOW. Nov 19 (Interfax) - Investments in constructing the mineral fertilizer terminal at the port of Novorossiysk are estimated at 28.4 billion rubles, including VAT, Novorossiysk Commercial Seaport (NCSP) said during a presentation at the Transport of Russia 2025 forum.
The terminal, with design capacity of 6 million tonnes per year, is scheduled for construction in 2025-2030.
Cargo handled includes urea, potash, and nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizers, according to the presentation materials.
The terminal's design specifications include a 492-meter berth, storage capacity of 296,000 tonnes, a berth depth of 16.5 meters, and an estimated vessel deadweight of 3,000-75,000 tonnes.
Construction of the mineral fertilizer terminal at the seaport of Novorossiysk had reportedly been scheduled to begin in 2024.
NCSP is one of Russia's leading stevedoring groups, with assets in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Territory; Primorsk, Leningrad Region; and Baltiysk, Kaliningrad Region. Transneft is the largest shareholder in NCSP, and the government owns 20% of the shares.
