U.S. allows transactions related to sale, operation of Lukoil's foreign filling stations until Dec 13
MOSCOW. Nov 17 (Interfax) - The U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has authorized transactions related to the operation, maintenance or sale of Lukoil retail fueling stations outside of Russia until December 13 provided that any payment, directly or indirectly, to a blocked person is made into a blocked account, the office said.
Lukoil, which was hit by U.S. sanctions on October 22, has about 2,500 filling stations in 19 countries.
