Poland planning to reopen 2 checkpoints on border with Belarus on Nov 17
MINSK. Nov 14 (Interfax) - Two additional checkpoints on the Polish-Belarusian border are due to open on November 17, a draft resolution of the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration, published on the website of the center for state legislation, said.
According to the document, Kuznica (Belarus' Bruzgi) and Bobrowniki (Berestowica) will reopen on that day. Kuznica will be clearing buses, while Bobrowniki will be clearing cars, buses and trucks registered in member states of the European Union and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) - signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, and Switzerland.
"The measures planned aim to resume passenger and cargo traffic. They respond to demand of the public, especially the large group of entrepreneurs, road carriers and labor migrants who cross the Belarusian-Polish border every day," the explanatory note for the Polish Interior Ministry's resolution said.
