Belarus decides to build third power unit at Ostrovets NPP - deputy PM

MINSK. Nov 14 (Interfax) - The Belarusian authorities have made a decision to build a third power unit at the operational Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant (BelNPP) (Ostrovets, Grodno region), Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich said during a meeting with President Alexander Lukashenko on the development of nuclear energy.

"A decision has been made to build a third unit at the BelNPP," Karankevich was quoted as saying by the state agency BelTA.
